This prophecy became clear with the arrival of Frothclan. Before Shoreclan, Jaggedclan and Rapidclan had lived together peacefully except for the occasional border fight. Prey had been bountiful, even in leafbare and especially in greenleaf. When the Medicine cats of the three clans recieved this message worry spread through the clans as they pondered over the prophecy. At a gathering between the three clans a group of cats wandered in and declared that they had been sent by Starclan to become the 4th clan in the forest, Frothclan.
Only the medicine cats of each clan shared a knowing glance as the rest of the cats called in protest. They shared the prophecy with the other clan cats and it was finally decided that Frothclan would stay because of the will of Starclan. The Frothclan cats took the part of the territory where all clans hunted. Soon the cats were faced with things not normal for them such as starvation in leafbare and even more frequent death.
Some cats blame Frothclan while other's blame Starclan for sending the clan into their territory. Another problem is a group of rogues who go by Talonclan that have settled along the edge of Jaggedclan and Shoreclan territory. As death and starvation spread through the clans, some cats wonder if they'll die..
