LEADERS
ALPHA α
The Alpha, or Alphess, is the top wolf, or dog, in the pack or gang. These are the supreme rulers, and all of their guidelines must be followed or you risk expulsion from the pack or even death. These canines are the strongest of the strong, which has allowed them to claim this position in the first place. They are able to be challenged, but just be aware that they will most likely win. If there is more than one Alpha, then they are almost always mates.
Two Positions
BETA β
The Betas are second in command of the pack or gang. They are usually the closest friends of the Alphas, and have known them for a long time. These canines act as advisers to the Alphas and help out whenever they are called upon. Also, if anything ever happens to the Alphas, the Betas will be put in charge. If there are two Betas, they are almost always mates.
Two Positions
GAMMA Γ
The Gammas are the third ranked individuals in the pack or gang. These canines are highly trusted by both the Alphas and Betas. These wolves or dogs act as enforcers of the pack rules and are in charge of lesser punishments. All members who do not uphold the pack law must be reported to the Gammas. If the offense is bad enough, the Gammas will send the offenders to the Alphas for a more severe punishment. If there are two Gammas, they are almost always mates.
Two Positions
DELTA δ
The Delta is the leader of the pack army. It is their job to train the Kappas in the pack to make sure they are fit and ready to face any adversity that might come their way. During times of war, the Delta is second in command of the army, under the Alpha. In times of peace, the Delta makes sure the territory is protected and guarded from intruders. Other than the alpha, this is usually the largest and strongest wolf or dog in the group.
One Position
EPSILON ε
The Epsilon is the lead hunter of the pack. They schedule all hunting trips and make sure the Rhos are practicing their hunting skills. When there is food in the area, the Zeta will report to the Epsilon to let them know.
One Position
ZETA ζ
The Zeta main duty is to scout the territory for prey items and report them to the Epsilon. Other than that, the Zeta is in charge of all other subordinate ranks. They do not have much authority, but must make sure all members are upholding the laws, or they will be reported.

SUBORDINATES
KAPPA κ
The Kappas are the soldiers of the pack. They answer directly to the Delta, and must follow their command at all times. These wolves or dogs must keep themselves strong and fit in case any intruders enter the territory. Their main job is to patrol pack borders and to bring outsiders to the Delta or Alpha. They are not allowed to fight intruders unless there is no other option.
Unlimited Positions
RHO ρ
The Rhos are the hunters of the pack. These canines must listen to the Epsilon and always be present during hunts. These wolves or dogs are agile and fast, and must keep up their training since the hunger of the pack depends on them.
Unlimited Positions
SIGMA Σ
The Sigmas are all of the other pack members that do not have a specified position. The Alphas will typically put new members into this position so that they might assess their skills to determine which position fits them best. If needed, these wolves or dogs will act as emergency Kappas or Rhos, so they must also keep themselves in shape for hunting or war.
Unlimited Positions
PHI φ
The Phis are the puppies that are born into or adopted by the pack or gang. Once the Phis are a year old, they will be placed into another position. If the Alpha does not specifically give them a rank, they are automatically placed as Sigmas.
Unlimited Positions
OMEGA Ω
The Omegas are barely considered members of the pack. These wolves or dogs are only a step away from being expelled from the pack or killed. Usually, these canines have done something to upset the Alpha, but for whatever reason, they are still allowed to be in the pack. These canines always eat last, and are often beat up by other members of the pack. The Omegas must work extremely hard to prove themselves to the Alpha, in hopes that they will be promoted back to a normal pack member.
